Cow Rescue Near Theeran Nagar - Manapparai Road Case 424

On 4th November 2016 night around 8 PM in an Road Accident a lorry and jeep hit 3 cows. Advocate Mr Lenin called us and informed about this. We went to the spot. One cow was stolen and sold to slaughter house by local people. Mr Lenin helped to transport the animals by arranging and paying for the vehicles. We took the balance 2 cows to treat at Palakkarai Vet Clinic. We admitted the cows at hospital around 10 PM. Treatment started. On 5th spoke to AWBI Additional Secretary Mr Vinoth & also spoke to Kuthalam and Velliangiri Goshalas. No one was ready to accept the cows at their goshala. Trichy Animal Activists and local goshalas were not ready to help. Doctors told it is very difficult for the cows to survive. On 6th Black Colour cow was Put to Sleep and 7th Brown colour cow was put to sleep. We Buried them Corporation Dump Yard. There was no co-operation from Police side to register case and trace the vehicles.
